Winter — blog — Sonder Explorations

As many of you (might) know I am a huge fan of winter. Snow, the change in cuisine and seasonal dishes, winter fashion, winter sports and activities - it's all very exciting. Living out in the west has given me a new set of winter passions, but has also made me more aware of climate. In Colorado alone, I can wear t-shirts and shorts during the winter and the sun is constantly out. Even after heavy snowfall in the mountains the sun is peaking through the clouds. This isn't a big deal for natives, but I grew up in the midwest and it's not only odd but alarming.

Essentially, by the comparison of my time in Colorado alone, our winters have become less harsh. If you haven't put two and two together with warmer summers and warmer winters allow me to send you here. Beyond all my college courses and rigorous testings and labs I have a passion about my fellow humans that goes beyond my art in photography.

If you're in denial that our planet is going through some changes with weather patterns and temperature changes...well you might have stopped reading this or maybe you don't enjoy reading/science altogether.
